In Q4 2025, Harmony BYD monthly sales exceeded 700 vehicles for three consecutive months, securing the No.1 position among all brands and earning the "God of War" recognition by BYD. The new year of 2026 began with another milestone—on January 30, the Harmony ICAR BYD & Denza dual-brand flagship center officially opened in Phnom Penh. The first on-site delivery of the newly produced SEALION 5 from BYD’s Cambodia manufacturing base marked the start of BYD’s next climb to even greater heights in Cambodia.

Mr. Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; Mr. Ye Chenghui, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division Cambodia Branch; Ms. Li Bin, Operations Center Director of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; Mr. Feng Changge, Chairman of Harmony; Mr. Qu Jianlei, Deputy General Manager of Harmony ICAR Asia Pacific Business Division; and Mr. Yang Chao, General Manager of Harmony ICAR Cambodia jointly cut the ribbon for the new store's opening.
Mr. Ye Chenghui formally presented the authorization plaque to the BYD & Denza Flagship Center in Cambodia. This represents BYD brand's full recognition of Harmony ICAR's operational capabilities and service system in the Cambodian market.
In April 2025, BYD's Sihanoukville manufacturing base was officially established in Cambodia. During the opening ceremony, Mr. Liu Xueliang and Mr. Feng Changge delivered the first two newly produced SEALION 5 vehicles to Cambodian owners, signifying that local consumers will increasingly be able to purchase locally produced BYD new energy vehicles.
The delivery of locally manufactured BYD vehicles also attracted attention from major Cambodian mainstream media. In an on-site interview, Mr. Liu Xueliang said, "Here, BYD fully feels the local government's support for the development of new energy vehicles, and we also thank the Cambodian people for their support of new technology products. Rather than saying BYD choosing Cambodia, it's more accurate to say the people of Cambodia chooses BYD."
He stated that the inception of production at the BYD Cambodia vehicle manufacturing base not only expands BYD's market share in Cambodia but also makes Cambodia a globally watched market for new energy vehicle development. It also implements the Cambodian government's automotive industry policy—allowing consumers to purchase their favorite NEV right at their doorsteps. BYD will continue to use the best technology and products for local production and, together with dealer partners like Harmony ICAR, to establish more outlets in Cambodia.
