On January 28th, the Harmony ICAR Laos BYD flagship 4S store officially opened in Vientiane. As the largest BYD 4S store in Laos to date, it integrates a comprehensive sales and service system with a diverse product portfolio. The opening ceremony commenced with a traditional Lao blessing dance rich in ethnic characteristics. Representatives from Lao government and business circles, partners, and media guests gathered at the scene to witness this important moment. Mr. Manothong Vongxay, Vice Minister of the Lao Ministry of Industry and Commerce; Mr. Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; Mr. Ye Chenghui, General Manager of BYD Laos Branch; Ms. Li Bin, Operations Center Director of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division; Mr. Qu Jianlei, Deputy General Manager of Harmony ICAR Asia Pacific; Mr. Souksamone Sihathep, Chairman of Maninon Group; and Mr. Zhang Jingtao, General Manager of Harmony ICAR Laos BYD 4S Store, jointly cut the ribbon for the new store.
In his speech, Mr. Manothong Vongxay pointed out that the development of BYD vehicles aligns well with Laos's policies promoting green transportation and clean energy, and an increasing number of Lao people are choosing BYD cars. He welcomed BYD's continued efforts to deepen its presence in the local market, bringing green and sustainable mobility options to Lao consumers.
In his address, Mr. Liu Xueliang stated that Harmony ICAR is an important strategic partner for BYD in its overseas development, with both parties having established strategic cooperation in over 20 countries and regions globally. BYD will join hands with Harmony ICAR and all dealer partners to utilize BYD's technology and products to create green mobility experiences that exceed user expectations.
In an interview with Lao National Television and other local media, Mr. Liu Xueliang expressed that BYD's new energy vehicle family can comprehensively cover the usage scenarios of Lao consumers. In response to the Lao government's strong support for popularizing electric vehicles, BYD will actively support relevant development policies and continue to introduce a richer lineup of models.
Mr. Qu Jianlei stated that the new store serves as an important window for BYD in the Lao market. During the opening ceremony, Mr. Ye Chenghui presented an authorization plaque to Mr. Zhang Jingtao, marking the official commencement of operations for the Harmony ICAR Vientiane BYD 4S Store. Subsequently, the ceremony included a delivery event for the first batch of vehicle owners from the new store.
